Rose Wood Architects, Inc. is an award winning design firm providing a full range of architectural services.  We maintain a diverse practice with an emphasis on residential work.  In our design process we engage each project in a thoughtful and joyful way with an attentiveness to obtaining the best results for our clients.  We are strategic in our interventions and pay particular attention to detail, context and budget.  Founded originally in 1963, Joan Wood Associates was a groundbreaking woman owed architectural office.  It went on to become a respected and successful design firm, completing projects throughout New England including the renovation of over 100 19th century rowhouses in Boston’s South End .  Joan's son Joshua worked with her for 12 years before taking ownership of the firm and renaming it Rose Wood Architects, Inc.  We continue to produce innovative and professional design work resulting in well designed beautiful buildings.
